See these kids? They are why I write. My name is Nichole. I’m a writer, a wife and mother. I’m a small business owner. I’ve lived a difficult life and have come out stronger for it. I love my life.
I am a graduate of California State University of Fresno with a BA in English. I am part of the Fresno Scifi and Fantasy Writers group (though we haven’t met in quite a while). I am heavily influenced by the writers Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Jane Austen, Henry D. Thoreau, Elizabeth Gaskell and the Bronte sisters. I love many others but it would take too long to list them all.
I care about people. I want them to know they are worth it and that no matter how hard this life gets, there’s beauty everywhere if we open our eyes. There is always hope. There is always a way.

I try to learn something in every experience I have so I am often writing about the area I live, my garden, writing experiences and things my kids have taught me.
While this blog is centered on writing, so much of what I learn pertains to much more then that. For example, my post on how to function at 5:00am or earlier, isn’t just about getting up early so you can write. It’s about getting up early so you can conquer the world and achieve your goals.
